Frequently asked questions
1. What game are we playing?
We play League of Legends Classic on PC.
2. Is this the official League of Legends Classic mode?
Yes. Matches are played in the official League of Legends Classic mode using custom games on classic Summoner’s Rift.
3. Is the tournament online?
Yes. Both tournaments are online events.
4. Which region is used?
Both language versions support EUNE and EUW selection.
5. How many players are required?
A team must include exactly five starting players.
6. Can we have a substitute player?
Yes, one substitute player is optional.
7. Is the launch tournament free?
Yes. Launch Night Cup has a 0 EUR entry fee per full team.
8. How much is the main tournament entry?
First Blood entry is 30 EUR per team on both EUNE and EUW.
9. Is 30 EUR per player or per team?
The fee always applies to the full five-player team.
10. How many teams can play?
Each bracket supports up to 16 teams.
11. When does registration close?
Registration deadlines are listed on each tournament page. Example: 29 July at 17:59 for Launch Night Cup.
12. How does the waitlist work?
After 16 slots are filled, additional teams are moved to the waitlist.
13. When is check-in?
Check-in runs in a fixed window for each event, e.g. 29 July at 18:00 – 29 July at 18:40.
14. How is the prize pool calculated?
In the paid tournament, 75% of paid entries goes to the prize pool and 25% covers organization costs.
15. Does the pool depend on paid teams?
Yes. Prize pool calculations use only completed payments.
16. How do we report match results?
The captain submits result + evidence, opponent confirms, and the result is approved by system/admin.
17. What if Riot servers have issues?
Admins may delay the event, adjust the schedule, or activate a backup date.
18. What if we are late?
Late arrival or missing check-in may result in a forfeit under tournament rules.
19. Can we stream our own match?
Yes, if your stream follows tournament streaming policy and required delay settings.
20. How can we contact admins?
Use the captain dashboard, tournament Discord, or contact@riftlegacycup.com.
21. When are prizes paid out?
Payouts are processed after final standings are confirmed and winner verification is completed.
22. Is this tournament run by Riot Games?
No. This competition is independent and is not affiliated with or sponsored by Riot Games.
23. Can a foreign player participate in the EUNE tournament?
Yes. The tournament is open internationally. Nationality and website language do not restrict region selection.
24. Can I register for EUNE using the English website?
Yes. Both the Polish and English versions of the website support EUNE and EUW tournaments.
25. Can a Polish team participate on EUW?
Yes, provided every player has an account capable of playing on EUW.
